I LOVE WHAT I DO! I teach English and social science to each and every student. I am an energetic, gifted, and enthusiastic educator who brings English into each and every lesson, whether it be through history or language arts. English is the basis of civilization and the ability to write and look impressive on paper is not only a skill, but a necessity in our competitive and high technological world. Through the creation of a student's personal style of writing, I elicit personal and emotional responses to literature.
Writing becomes enhanced and important, rather than a task. Driven by the desire for excellence in teaching and tutoring, I tailor my approach to learning to a person's age, experience, prior knowledge, and mode of processing information. My philosophy is, "Each person should do what they love. If you love what you are doing, then you will do it well, and you will be happy. If you are happy, you will be successful." Yes, everyone can write, and yes, everyone needs to read!
